Most remodels touch several trades at once: framing, flooring, cabinets, tile, doors and trim. Because we supply and install all of them, one contractor coordinates the work instead of several. How We Plan and Build Your Remodel
How a project runs
We start with your goals, photos and the rooms involved, plan the scope and materials with you, then build it. Material selection happens at our San Marcos showroom.
Licensed and bonded
Model Home, Inc. is a licensed general contractor, CSLB #927826 (B - General Building), licensed since 2009. A $25,000 contractor's bond is on file with the CSLB.

Do you do whole-home remodels and additions?
Yes. Model Home, Inc. plans and builds whole-home remodels, room and loft additions, ADUs, kitchens, bathrooms and staircases, and supplies and installs the flooring, cabinets, tile, doors and trim that go with them.
Do you build ADUs?
Yes. We build accessory dwelling units (ADUs), from the plans and permits through construction. Estimates are free; tell us about your property and what you have in mind.
Is Model Home, Inc. licensed?
Yes. Model Home, Inc. holds California contractor license #927826, classification B - General Building, issued in 2009 and current with the Contractors State License Board. You can check it on the CSLB website.
