This policy explains what information Model Home, Inc. (“Model Home,” “we,” “us”) collects through modelhomeinc.com, how we use it and the choices you have. Model Home, Inc. is a licensed general contractor (CSLB #927826) at 1070 Commerce St, Suite F, San Marcos, CA 92078.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you use our project inquiry form, we collect your name, email address and/or phone number, project type, project city, timeline (if you give one) and your project description. We also receive whatever you include when you call or email us.
- Website usage information. On modelhomeinc.com we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, how you arrived (for example, from a search), device and browser type, approximate location (city or region) and whether an inquiry was sent. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard request information, such as IP address, browser type and the time of each request, to deliver the website and keep it secure.
Please don’t include sensitive information, such as financial account numbers or government ID numbers, in the inquiry form.
How we use information
- To answer your inquiry, discuss and estimate your project, schedule showroom visits and installations, and communicate with you about your project.
- To understand which pages and services visitors find useful, and to improve the website.
- To operate and protect the website, including preventing spam and misuse of the inquiry form.
- To keep business records and meet our legal obligations.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and respond to you, and only for that purpose:
- Vercel hosts the website and processes inquiry form submissions.
- Resend delivers inquiry form submissions to our email inbox.
- Google Analytics measures website usage, as described above.
- Google Maps provides the showroom map. The map loads from Google only when you scroll to it, and Google may then collect information under its own privacy policy.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Cookies and your choices
Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to recognize returning visitors. Our website does not set any other cookies or use advertising trackers. The inquiry form briefly stores a reference number in your browser so the same inquiry is not counted twice.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The website works normally without analytics cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you, carry out any project you hire us for, and keep the business records the law requires. Google Analytics data is kept according to our Analytics data-retention setting and is then deleted automatically.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. California residents may have additional rights under California privacy law, and we will honor requests as that law requires. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Security
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and access to inquiry information is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults planning home projects. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
